SUMMARY
Experienced in college instruction and adult education specializing in film/video production, history, ethnographic film and critical studies. Designed curricula for classroom and laboratory settings in a wide variety of courses in the field, including digital video, media literacy, documentary production and studies, scriptwriting, post-production as well as women and film.

  • Postproduction consultant, (2009), “The Last Experiment,” a social documentary that grappleswith how one community deals with the challenges of global climate change.
  • Produced films/videos from concept to distribution, including film currently in circulation inEurope (1987 – 2009).
  • Created interactive training Qigong DVDs for clients and students with supplementalinformation 2006 – 2009.
  • Honorable Mention, Smoky Mountain Nantahala Media Festival, 1997 and 1999 for “TheRoad Home” and “Home Sweet Home”, which was honored at the Lily GuerneseyInternational Film and Video Festival 2000 along with “How does your Garden Grow?” in2003.
